Ecological Values as Protection against Gender Dysphoria: a Socio-philosophical Analysis
The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of the ideology of transhumanism on gender self-identification. The values of transhumanism are very successfully institutionalized in modern, especially Western, society, and this process is fraught with serious threats to human being. In the process of analyzing this phenomenon, the author comes to the conclusion that the result of such institutionalization often becomes gender dysphoria, when a person can not fully accept his gender status of a man or a woman. The values of transhumanism before a person achieves the coveted immortality lead to the transgender phenomenon – to the loss of gender identity. This process is extremely destructive for the psyche and social activities. To prevent such destructive influence, it is proposed to use a system of ecological values that clearly define the male and female principles in a person, the concept of a traditional family, the traditional relationship between a man and a woman. Orientation towards the formation of ecological consciousness is capable of laying the true notions about the essence of gender, how to behave like a man and a woman. Human ecology involves the rejection of the pseudo-values of the worldview of transhumanism and the return of mankind to the traditional framework of its existence, originally inherent in nature itself.
