The Moral Regulation as a Form of Social Violence

Society should get effective instrument of regulation of individuals` behavior. Society uses morality as a universal system of compulsion. Morality is also used as an instrument of socialization and demarcation between social and asocial elements, and as an instrument of punishment. Concepts used to identify socially unacceptable actions are: obscenity, shame, guilt. The content of these concepts is determined by social norms relevant in the specific cultural context.

Democracy at the Concepts of the Alternative Directions in the Russian Philosophy (at the End of XIX – First Half of XX Centuries)

The article describes the comparative analysis of the concepts of democracy put forward by the representatives of the alternative directions of Russian philosophy at the end of XIX and first half of XX centuries. The author of the article notes the development of the ideas of democracy, observed and described in ancient Greek philosophy, by such thinkers of the Enlightenment as Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Charles-Louis Montesquieu, and others.

Conceptual Grounds of the Human Destructive Activity in Tradition of the Social-Psychological Approach: Social-Philosophical Analysis

The article is devoted to the analysis of the social and philosophical grounds of the destructive human activity. The brief characteristic of various concepts on the given problem which can be divided into two directions conditionally are also given. On the one hand the nature of destruction is examined as a biological predisposition, and on the other hand − as socially determined.

Ideological Violence and Formation of the Global Social Order

Everyone ideological acts as the form of violence over the person, and not only in a context of totalitarianism. Democracy though also it is accepted to oppose with it to totalitarianism as uses means of ideological violence, only in a little bit other forms. As a result of the updating of thinking made under influence of ideology, change not only political, not only its social characteristics, it changes on anthropological, even, on physiological levels. At the same time, crisis of ideology as system is observed.
