The Correlation of Career Orientations of Managers with Professional Activity and Overall Life Satisfaction
In the article author analyses the career orientations and factors of professional activity and the overall life satisfaction of managers in The Republic Bashkortostan with the use of a questionnaire of career orientation «Anchor career» E. Shane in the translation and adaptation V. A. Chicer, V. E. Vinokurova and multi-factor questionnaire of behavior and experience, work-related called AVEM authors W. Schaarschmidt and A. Fischer in the adaptation of T. Ronginskaya. The author also review the theoretical concepts “career”, “career orientation”, “life success” and “life satisfaction” and identify the main factors: “professional activity” and “life satisfaction”, “managerial competence”, “integrity”, “psychological stability”. The consideration of each factor with the definition of its values and level of impact on overall life success, promoting professional activity and overall life satisfaction. There are stable relationships between such qualities as a professional activity, satisfaction with life and major career orientations: management, stability, stability of residence, service, challenge, integrating lifestyle, entrepreneurship. Analyzed the correlation of career orientations with a common life satisfaction and regard to professional success. The analysis found the desire of leaders to maintain balance between work and personal life. This tendency is reflected in the harmonious relationship of professional activity and overall life satisfaction.
