The article presents the empirical research results of emotional burnout level and socio-psychological characteristics of the penitentiary system employees, presented in terms of job satisfaction and attitudes towards subjects and objects of professional activity in the context of a social cognitive approach.

Reflexive and Verbal Indicators of Teachers’ Burnout

The teachers’ emotional health disorders were traditionally analysed through burnout levels, correlated with individual personality or stress factors of labour, to that the inclusive component of school education is presently attributed. Ways of studying burnout in conjunction with the psycho-physiological personality traits, temperament and character are now fading into the background. The emerging research trend associates emotional burnout with violations in the moral sphere of the individual.

Social and Psychological Features of Emotional Burnout at Various Stages of Seniority of Correctional Staff

The article presents the results of empirical research of correctional staff’s emotional burnout. The hypothesis: there is an existence of features of correctional staff’s emotional burnout at various stages of their seniority. Empirical selection is presented by employees of Federal Service Directorate of Execution of Punishment in Saratov region. Methods: V. Boyko’s method for burnout level assessment; K. Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). This research shows dynamics of emotional burnout which people working in penal system eventually acquire.

Social-psychological and Individual Personality Characteristics of Representatives of Extreme Professions with High and Low Emotional Burnout

The article discusses the problem of emotional burnout of representatives of extreme professions as connected with their individual and social-psychological personality characteristics. Two groups of employees (those who suffer from emotional burnout and those who do not experience it) have been tested, with the results of
empirical investigation being analyzed.
