The article is devoted to the study of ontological, phenomenological and axiological modes of the interaction between network structures in the situation of a conflict confrontation. The aim of the work is to identify the modes of the interaction between network structures, and to clarify their specifics in the context of conflict escalation.

Cultural status: The dialectics of objective and subjective

The article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of the concept of “cultural status” in modern scientific discourse, which includes structural-functional and communicative approaches and allows to identify the invariant features present in this concept. These features, according to the authors, are associated with the category of measure, which fixes the balance of the diverse features of human nature. Cultural status reflects the position of its bearer in the space-time continuum and the context of values, norms, and relationships.

Communication Processes in Social Systems Through the Prism of the Paradigm of Complexity

This article is focused on the results of the study of social systems based on the principles of the Complexity Paradigm.Our research task is focused on the analysis of communication processes in social systems. Our objective is to study their way of functioning of the parameters which we find in “a human” type of social systems. As a theoretical and methodological foundation, we use the Complexity paradigm, and we also rely on the Complex Discourse Analysis that was obtained as a result of our previous studies.

The target programme of the author’s approach presented in the article includes the study of the methodological functions of concepts-toposes capable of uncovering the essence of changes in the life space of a society, changes caused by the increasing influence of the Internet. The main stages of the informatization of the modern society are presented in the article by toposes of late industrialism and information toposes of post-industrialism which have emerged in the “post” era.

Risk Communication: Theoretical Foundations and Current Issues

This article introduces the framework of risk communication problem. Values, attitudes, social influences and cultural identity, and institutes influence what human beings perceive as their risks. Hence, the social experience of risk is not confined to the technical parameters of risk, i.e. the probability and magnitude. The present work examines the methodological roots of risk communication theory, traces the development of this subject in risk literature, and explores its value in current risk issues.

The Diversity of the Digital Environment in a Risk Society

In the article presented, it is established that the basis for a digital society is the digital environment. The study of technologies outside the context of anthropological and social experience is insufficient, therefore, for the consideration of a digital society, the hybridization of Software studies and digital humanities is a productive one. It is established that the digital society is not only the result of technological progress, but also the result of the changing experience of mankind.

Media Space: Socio-Philosophical Analysis

The purpose of this article is to analyze various approaches to studying the problems of media space in modern society, as well as the definition of clear common characteristics attributed to media space in various theories of media in social philosophy. In the search for a universal definition of the phenomenon of media space, the author considers the socio-philosophical category of media space, understood as a special kind of reality, which includes the basic components of the socialization of modern man in the framework of not only social institutions, but also culture as a whole.

Social Memory in the Life Space of Socium

The article discusses modern problems of inheritance and perception of the past from the standpoint of the categorical apparatus of social philosophy. The conceptual bases of the analysis are connected with the comprehension of the heuristic possibilities of the concepts “social space”, “living space”. When analyzing the ontology of social space, three types of spatial relationships should be considered: institutional, spatial-stratification and civilizational. Virtually and spiritually mastered by people, the natural and social space becomes the life space of the society.

Russian Immigrants' Personal Self-Actualization and Subjective Well-Being

The article represents results of empirical research of the interrelation between Russian immigrants' personal self-actualization and subjective well-being. Detailed results based on a sample of Russians who migrated, and Russians who live in Russia are provided. Common and particular interrelations between personal self-actualization and subjective well-being are highlighted. Also the features typical for persons living in Russia, Germany, USA and Spain are considered.
