In the article the necessity of formation of auto-psychological competence of teaching specialties’ students in their high school training is proved. The author’s model of the formation of auto-psychological students’ competence became the result of this work. The field of its application is a process of preparation of future teachers. The testing model has corroborated its efficiency and students’ transition from low to high level of generated auto-psychological competence became the indicator of that.

The paper gives an analysis of the historical and pedagogical aspect of studying innovational pedagogical activities which allows us to make the following conclusions: innovativeness has always been characteristic of educational work, determined the processes of its renovation, improvement and development as evidenced by the history of the formation of pedagogical ideas.

In this article the analysis of the destination key point of the modern education is described and also the series of problems that take place in the national system of education and culture is disclosed. We pay attention to the role of the religion in the spiritual life of the society and we develop the problem of the ideological and spiritual content of the modern education. The article studies urgent problems of musical education connected with deep processes of musical art evolution. The author focuses on academisation and changes in paradigm of performing art caused by it. The changes are aimed at the increase of self-value of musical piece and decrease of the importance of performing art’s communicative function. That can bring about inevitable changes threatening the performing art as a form of creative activity. The mentioned above tendencies call for reconstruction of the conception of musical education.

The article presents material of the history of publishing periodicals in the Military Schools of the Russian Empire in the beginning of the ХХ century. Journals are considered as the capital and provincial cadet and junker schools, analyzes the participation of teaching staff of educational institutions in the preparation of publications.

The subject matter of the research is peculiarities and trends of the educational thought in the United States in the context of the formation and development of the education system in the United States in the XX century.

The main contradictions in foreign language teaching to future geologists at higher engineering and technical educational establishments are formulated. The practicability of improving this process through optimizing teaching vocationally-oriented reading by humanizing and emotionalizing it and also by rendering a productive philological orientation to it is substantiated. The essence of the above-said principles as applied to teaching vocationally-oriented reading in a foreign tongue to students of engineering is presented.
