In the article we attempted to understand and solve the problem of ideologizing the tradition in its most popular form such as traditionalism. We tried to show how the emergence and spread of the ideas of traditionalism depended on the role and degree of awareness of tradition in society. The influence of tradition changed throughout the history of society.

Technologization of Society as the Factor of Sociocultural Changes

The article considers the main processes of technologization of the modern society as a fundamental cause of value and sociocultural changes in public life. The author also describes the changes in the value transformation of society, focusing on the relationship between social, cultural and industrial-technogenic changes. The society is considered by the author as a heterogeneous object from the dynamic point of view, different subsystems of which develop at different speeds.

The Idea of Justice and Citizenship in Modern Russia

The article analyzes the relationship between citizenship and understanding of justice in modern Russian society. Justice plays a decisive role in the behavior of citizens and the specifics of their civic positions, therefore the research in this area is always relevant. The study is based on the Freudo-Marxist approach, and is carried out by means of the method of critical philosophical reflection. The main attention is focused on the specifics of Russian citizenship in terms of the dominant ideals.

Problems and Concepts of Philosophy and Philosophy of Science: the Phenomenon of Contextuality

This article refers to the analysis of a ratio of science and culture in the context of the new European philosophy. Science as a sociocultural phenomenon always had a special place in culture. Rapid development of science within the last two centuries naturally forces philosophy to look for new approaches to understanding of the nature of scientific knowledge and scientific activity.

Freedom within the Context of the Russian Consumer Society

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of freedom in the conditions of modern Russian consumer society. The relevance of this problem is expressed in replacing the understanding of the meaning of freedom as the freedom “for” with such an understanding, which includes the interpretation associated with such a phenomenon as consumerism, that does not allow to perceive it as a true universal freedom. Various philosophical concepts of modernity are aimed at criticism of consumption as an attribute of post-capitalist society.

The article is devoted to the problem of imagery in visual studies. The heterogeneous nature of visual studies, due to their interdisciplinary focus, suggests that there is no clarity, both in the development of general methodology and a conceptual framework. The purpose of the article is to specify the concept of “image”, to identify its structural components, and ways of functioning in the space of interactions.

The Role of Objective Laws of Nature in the Formation of the Legal Norms of the Society

The article is devoted to the issue of the interaction of nature and society through the prism of laws acting in these areas of human activity. The purpose of the work is to conduct a comparative analysis of the laws of nature (natural laws of development) and legal norms (social laws of development), and the definition of the place of laws of nature in the formation of legal norms. Based on the research done, it was concluded that the laws of nature and legal norms basically have more differences than similarities.

The Ontological Foundations of the Institutional Person

While connecting social philosophy with ontology the ontological foundations of the institutional person are opening new unexplored strata of the creation thus greatly broadening the horizons of a scientific research. Using the rational synthesis of religious and scientific world outlook, "mechanical" principles of self-organization of a material world are supplemented by consciousness the forms of which are intrinsic not only to a person.

Sophia as a World Soul in the Worldview of Russian Sophiologists and Gregory of Narek

The article is devoted to the analysis of the image of Sophia the Wisdom of God as a World Soul, which is the focus of the all-unity concept of Russian religious philosopher Vladimir S. Solovyev – the founder of Russian Sophiology. As a unique innovation in the context of research works on sophiology, the article actualizes and pays attention to the work by the ancient Armenian philosopher and theologian of the 10th century Gregory of Narek – «The Book of Lamentations», which expresses ideas revealing the image of the World Soul in a deep philosophical and theological context.
